Implement discipline techniques and classroom management. Maintain a clean and orderly environment. Other duties as assigned. 
<p>Minimum Requirements: 
<p>Ability to relate to and work with students and adults in a positive manner. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, Basic English and mathematics skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, ability to be flexible, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Successful experience working with children preferred. High School diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory background check. Must obtain valid CPR/First Aid training within 30 days of hire.

<p>Qualifications<br />Applicant must be able to recover 10-lb. object in 10 ft of water with 30-ft approach. Tow 10-lb. object 50 yards with inverted breaststroke kick. Tow 10-lb. object with scissor kick. Swim 300 yards front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke. Tread water 2 minutes supporting 10-lb. object with both hands. Must possess and demonstrate competency in all lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certifications. Knowledge of all ARC Courses, programs, reporting procedures and safety programs. Must have the ability to instruct courses and supervise participants. Must have the ability to work with general public, co-workers and supervisors and maintain a pleasant and professional personality. Ability to enforce all pool area rules and regulations.

Know and be able to implement the facility Emergency Action Plan. Remove all swimmers from the pool when there is evidence of a storm. Responsible for water and pool area maintenance. Provide patrons with accurate information regarding all sport activities. Assist with all pool and class duties. Participate in weekly conditioning and training sessions. Assist with the collection of fees for ceramics and supplies used. Assist students with painting as needed. Prepare ceramic items to sale. Maintain up-to-date records of ceramic molds and student files. Assist with maintaining inventory and ordering supplies. Perform general housekeeping duties daily to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that the classroom is set-up and ready for instruction prior to each class. Perform related work as required.
