This position serves as the chief administrative officer of the city, responsible to the Mayor and a 4 member Council for the proper administration of all affairs of the city. Sylvester is the county seat of Worth County and is ideally located about 20 miles east of downtown Albany. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or related field (master’s preferred), with seven years of progressively responsible experience as either a City Manager or Assistant City Manager. Electric Utility experience a plus. Salary is open and commensurate with background and experience.
