RFP Auditing Services

The Telfair County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for three fiscal years (FYs ending June 30, 2024, 2025 and 2026, with possible option of auditing its financial statements for each of the two subsequent fiscal years.

The audits to be performed in accordance with generally-accepted auditing standards as set forth for financial audits in the GAO standards (1994), the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended in 1996) and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations as well as all applicable requirements of audits for local government in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, regulations of the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts, and applicable requirements of federal and state grantor agencies.

There is no expressed or implied obligations for Telfair County to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.

Sealed envelopes must be clearly marked "AUDITING SERVICES."  Bids will be opened at the regularly-scheduled Commission meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 5 PM.
