The City of Milton is looking for a highly qualified individual to serve as a Camp Joyful Soles Counselor.
The role of the Counselor is as a mentor, teacher, guide, and support system for the teenagers who attend camp. The main goal of the Counselor is to promote a fun and safe camp environment for all campers who attend. The Counselor’s chief responsibilities that help achieve this goal are:
The Counselor answers to the Camp Manager, Supervisor and Lead Counselor.
Sixteen (16) years of age with a recommended minimum of 1 year experience working with a program directly relatable to Camp Joyful Soles; Experience interacting or working with individuals with special needs/mild disabilities preferred; CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred.
$12-$14 per hour.
