The City of Locust Grove seeks all qualified individuals (Internal preference for five (5) working days) for the following position: Accounting Specialist. Under the general direction of the City Accountant/City Clerk, performs a variety of accounting activities necessary to maintain accounting records and financial data as required for effective management of fiscal affairs. Incumbent may be required to work in excess of the standard 40-hour work week during critical periods with the approval of the City Clerk. Work is reviewed through audit, observation, conferences, reports, reconciliations with other fiscal records, and from results obtained. Performs other work as required.
