Job Description

The Administrative Support Associate position is assigned to the Water and Sewer Plan Review Section within the Development Division and is responsible for performing administrative support duties related to water and sewer plan review.

Essential Duties:

  • Assisting engineering staff with customer support and document processing.
  • Managing the Approved Contractor’s List. 
  • Issuing Utility Construction Permits.
  • Assisting customers with water, sewer, and stormwater questions. 
  • Managing the section’s incoming mailbox and phone calls.
  • Monitoring and managing the completion of open records requests. 
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D.
  • Three years of administrative support or related office experience with progression of responsibilities.
  • Understanding of basic development terminology.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Proficiency in Accela, Microsoft Office Suite of products, and Adobe products is a plus.
