Job Description
The Engineer I, II, and III roles will perform multiple aspects of the review process requiring more experience and skillin the review, approval, and permitting of commercial and residential site development projects as well assupporting larger and more complex projects. 

Essential Duties:

• Reviewing development plans for compliance with applicable regulations and adherence to mandated guidelines pertaining specifically to stormwater.
• Communicating plan review matters with design professionals and internal staff.
• Providing technical assistance to other County staff, outside contractors, and the general public regarding engineering issues.
• Reviewing various reports, zoning conditions, recorded plats, GIS maps, and easements related to development projects.
• Researching, investigating, and evaluating complaints and inquiries received by the public or management regarding stormwater issues.
• Maintaining records associated with plan review.
• Performing other duties of a similar nature or level. 

Minimum Qualifications 
Engineer I (Grade C42(1)):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 
• Valid driver's license from the state of residency

Engineer II (Grade C43(1)): 

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 
• One year of related experience
• Valid driver's license from the state of residency

Engineer III (Grade C45(1)):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 
• Two years of progressively responsible engineering experience
• Valid driver's license from the state of residency
