(FULL-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing accounting activities including the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reporting of governmental financial records. Duties include oversight and review of daily accounting functions; maintenance of general ledger; oversight of credit card and purchase accounts; and assistance with period-end processes. The incumbent will assist with internal controls and will maintain/troubleshoot the accounting database. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, along with 3 years of experience in public sector accounting, required (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Accounting designation (CPA or CGFM) is strongly preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Minimum starting pay is $44,647.
