- Must be a citizen of the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess (or be eligible to possess) and maintain a valid Georgia drivers license.
Under general direction of a Police Lieutenant or other supervisory/management staff, performs
a variety of duties related to the protection of public health, safety, and welfare and the
enforcement of applicable federal, state, and local laws; provides traffic enforcement and
control; and carries out special assignments in a particular phase of police work.
SALARY: Police Officer Certified- $40,425 - $72,770 Depending on qualifications and experience.
The City of Alpharetta Public Safety Department will be accepting applications for the purpose of filling openings within the Public Safety Department for the position of Police Officer.
