Thank you for your interest in becoming an Alpharetta Firefighter. We will be accepting applications through February 23rd, 2018 at 4:00 pm for the position of Certified Firefighter/EMT-I. Our selection process will include the following:
High School diploma (or GED equivalent).
Must possess a valid Georgia Class C Drivers License
Must be 18 years of age
Must be a current NPQ I Certified Firefighter of IFSAC Certified Firefighter
Must have a current AEMT, EMT-I or Paramedic Certification
Applications must be received by February 23rd, 2018.

The City of Alpharetta Public Safety Department will be accepting applications for the purpose of filling openings within the Public Safety Department for the position of a Firefighter. Interested persons should submit an application (found on the City website, www.alpharetta.ga.us, in the Public Safety recruitment tab) or send to the Alpharetta Public Safety Department, Office of Professional Standards, 2565 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
