Glynn County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant County Manager. Reporting to the County Manager, the Assistant County Manager is responsible for providing management oversight of the Recreation and Parks Department and Animal Control Division, management assistance to the County Manager and interim management of various county departments as needed; and acting on behalf of the County Manager in his absence.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field; supplemented by five (5) years previous experience and/or training that includes public administration, concept analysis, finance, financial analysis, budget management, purchasing, contract management, personnel management, and general management of various county department functions.
