Position Available - City of Fort Oglethorpe - Certified Police Officer---The City of Fort Oglethorpe is accepting applications and resumes for certified police officers.  The City is seeking well qualified individuals with a high degree of personal integrity and a desire to serve our fast-growing community.  The starting salary range is $14.00 to $16.00 an hour, depending upon experience.

Minimum Qualifications:  Must be at least 21 years if age; current Georgia POST Certification; be a citizen of the United States; possess a valid Georgia driver's license.

Background Investigation:  A thorough personal, work experience and qualification background investigation is required.  A review of the driving record; edoucational accomplishments and a credit record vertification are requested prior to employment.

The successful candidate must pass a physical, psychological, polygraph and drug screen.
