Employee in this position is responsible for office and clerical operations pertaining to assisting the County Clerk and other members of County Management. Assists with scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, maintaining appointment calendars, making meeting preparations and maintaining the County Website. Greets clients or general public, answers telephone, provides or gathers information and provides services or refers to appropriate department or individual. Performs other duties as required. Employee reports to County Clerk.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, and (2) years previous word processing, telephone reception, filing or related clerical experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Applicants must pass a 35 WPM typing test and basic clerical skills test.
