The purpose of this job is to perform clerical and recordkeeping duties for the City of Whitesburg Municipal Court. This is a part-time position for up to 24 hours per week.
The following duties are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. In order to qualify, applicants should possess the knowledge, skill, and abilities to:
- Perform General Office Duties
- Provide Data Entry
- Provide Customer Service
- Maintain electronic and paper copies of court files
- Retrieve and disseminate information and documents pertaining to all aspects of municipal court
- Compile all reports associated with municipal court
- Be available for attendance at all court sessions
High School Diploma (or GED) required. Experience as a Municipal Court Clerk preferred -OR-
any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Applicants who possess an ICJE Georgia Municipal Clerk Certification are preferred, but not necessary.
(ADA) MINIMUM PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to use body members to work, move, or carry objects or materials.
