TransAid Driver - Temporary Part-Time

TransAid Driver: Monday – Friday- Temporary Part-time (approx. 29 hrs. /week)
$10.50 - $11.00/hour
Requirements/Preferences:
 
  • Good verifiable work record.
  • Valid CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement and a good driving record or willing to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions including maps.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Able to obtain CPR, First Aid certification, obtain passing score – defensive driving class.
  • Assist passengers, including handicapped, in and out of the vehicle; operate ramps, lifts and securing devices as needed.
  • Able to use radio and telephone equipment.
  • Able to exhibit good judgment and discretion while processing sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Able to maintain logs and records daily and monthly.
  • Able to work effectively in a teamwork environment.
  • Keep assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.
  • Good knowledge of the County roads.
