TransAid Driver - Temporary Part-Time

TransAid Driver: Monday – Friday- Temporary Part-time (approx. 29 hrs. /week)
$10.50 - $11.00/hour
Good verifiable work record.
Valid CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement and a good driving record or willing to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions including maps.
Good communication skills.
Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
Able to obtain CPR, First Aid certification, obtain passing score – defensive driving class.
Assist passengers, including handicapped, in and out of the vehicle; operate ramps, lifts and securing devices as needed.
Able to use radio and telephone equipment.
Able to exhibit good judgment and discretion while processing sensitive and/or confidential information.
Able to maintain logs and records daily and monthly.
Able to work effectively in a teamwork environment.
Keep assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.
Good knowledge of the County roads.
