FLSA STATUS: Exempt - Executive
CLASSIFICATION: Regular Non-Merit; Serves at the discretion of the Department Director.
PAY GRADE: 28; $58,214-$75,678- Depends on Qualifications

The purpose of the job is to oversee and direct the in-house self-funded and self-administered worker's compensation and liability program for the Unified Government to include managing and analyzing the operations of Risk Management. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, government wide risk management (self funded, self administered GL, Property, Auto, WC); ACCGOV contract review; claims management, settlement; complex claims and lawsuits; reporting and analytics; loss control strategy development and implementation; safety and loss mitigation training strategy and implementation; developing budgets; broker/vendor relationships; court appearance as appropriate, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Job Related Requirements
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; remains accessible and on call twenty-four hours per day/seven days a week. May be required to work outside of normal business hours.
May be required to work on religious holidays.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Must work cooperatively with others.
When requirements include vehicle operation, responsible for the safety, readiness and operation of the vehicle and must abide by ACC's safe driving policy.
This position is designated as an emergency position that requires your attendance at work under all types of emergency conditions. Some examples of emergencies include inclement weather, utility failure, fire or other forced evacuations or as determined by the Manager.
