E. L. Richardson Building - Countywide Services/Refugee & TB
: Under limited supervision, oversees the development and on-going management of the DeKalb County Board of TB and Health Refugee Health Programs. Oversees and coordinates the programmatic and administrative functions of both programs. Ensures that services are provided according to the state and national guidelines. Establishes program plans, budgets and staffing requirements and ensures program meets stated objectives. Supervises program staff and evaluates staff performance. Develops and manages/maintains collaborative and cooperative relationships with community organizations.
Doctorate degree in a related filed from an accredited college or university AND Two years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Two years of experience at the lower level Mgr 2, Hlth Care (HCM011) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require certification and/or licensure.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in TB and Refugee Health and/or related program planning, implementation, and management. Experience in Public Health leadership is desired.
