The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive medical services to clients of the health center. The NP will assess TB and Refugee Health clients’ health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The NP collaborates with the Medical Director in the management of patients, and coordinates referrals, disease prevention, and follow-up care.
Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to NP’s with experience and knowledge of Tuberculosis and other infectious diseases and treatment in cross-cultural settings.
