Salary Negotiable, Based on Qualifications/Excellent Benefits Package
To assist and support the Director of Finance in the direction and control of the County’s Finance Department, to include but not limited to, managing specific accounting functions; purchase order processing, cash receipts processing, miscellaneous billing, issuance of County Business License; and administrative support for Finance Director.
Must have advanced computer skills, including spreadsheet, database, word processing and major financial software applications, ability to communicate with all levels of employees, strong diplomacy, oral and written communication skills, and proven organizational and time management skills.
High School diploma required, vocational/technical degree in accounting, office administration or related field preferred; two (2) year(s) of experience in bookkeeping, customer service or general office management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Governmental Accounting experience, Certified Government Finance Officer and/or Certified Public Finance Officer, considered a plus. The starting salary will depend on qualifications/experience.
