The annual salary range for this position is $61,448.00-$95,244.00 DOQ.
| Job Summary:
|Defines and leads strategy, implementation, operational planning/excellence, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted and cross-functional programs within the county.
Develops and manages program operating costs, requests budget allocation and reallocations, ensures the program remains within the allocated budget.
Incorporates industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking, and establishes standards, key measures, and metrics to be used in managing and measuring the programs value to the county and its success against other similar programs in the industry.
Ensures program integration and alignment with other processes and solutions used within the county.
Provide both written and verbal communications to executive management including status reports, issue notification, mitigation plans, success stories and other key metrics identified by the program charter.
Promotes innovative ideas by understanding business requirements and suggesting potential solutions to county's Executive Management, Department Heads/Directors, Elected Officials, and technical solution owners.
Provides direction and assistance to IST project manager staff; provides training as needed; coordinates daily work activities; assigns work and monitors status of work, inspects completed work, and troubleshoots problem situations; confers with assigned staff, assists with complex/problem situations, and provides technical expertise as appropriate.
| Minimum Qualifications:
|Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Information Technology Sciences, or closely related field; supplemented by five (5) years previous experience in IT project or program management including PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge); or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Must possess and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
