The Schley County Board of Commissioners is seeking a County Administrator.  The County Administrator will work under the direction of and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners.  The County Administrator will perform general management of the County’s daily operation.  The County Administrator must have knowledge of Federal, State and County Laws.  The County Administrator must have the ability to build relationships with other governmental bodies and have experience as either a County Manager, County Administrator, or City Manager.  This position is responsible for supervision of all County Departments. 
A Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ experience in government is required.  A Certified ACCG County official is preferred or required within three years of hire date. 
Salary is commensurate with experience.
