The Technology Services Department is the central point of contact for all technology related matters. The IT Support technician reports directly to the Technology Services Director and is responsible for addressing general technical support requests and other duties as assigned.

IT Support Technician will be responsible for the smooth running of computer and communications systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them. Task may include:
• Installing, upgrading and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
• monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
• taking staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
• troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
• replacing parts as required;
• providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
• following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
• setting up new users; accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
• work with vendor support to schedule and oversee warranty repairs.

Qualifications: High School Diploma, or G.E.D.; One year of related computer experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Must have knowledge of applicable computer hardware and software; data center principles. EOE
