Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field supplemented by five (5) years of progressively responsible experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Good communication skills necessary for interaction with other employees and the general public. Must have the ability to analyze data thoroughly and record as appropriate according to governmental accounting standards as prescribed by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Must have a thorough knowledge of a computerized general ledger/payroll system.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
