Family Treatment Court Case Manager

This position provides support for the Family Treatment Court Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the Family Treatment Court Program. This position is responsible for the tracking of participant progress, data collection, data dissemination, and accurate and timely maintenance of all spreadsheets. This position will prepare, update, and maintain participant files, as well as maintain databases and tracking systems for the Family Treatment Court Program. An acute attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations are essential, maintaining confidentiality of all offenders and office information as required by federal law.


Education and Experience:

Case manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, knowledgeable about grant management data systems, basic data interpretation, and drug court protocol.  Experience working with Five Points Solutions program or other data management system, experience operating a multi-passenger van or equivalent, drug screening supplies and equipment.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Services, or other administrative degree is required from an accredited or state approved college or university; AND a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working and communicating with at-risk population. Must possess superior communication skills, particularly with at-risk population.

Experience may not substitute for education but experience in a related field working with Newton County’s family population is a plus.


Five (5) years’ experience working and communicating with at-risk population families.

Licenses and Certifications:

A valid Georgia State Driver’s License is required.
