Under limited supervision, develops, directs and manages clinical and population-based programs of nursing services and budgets in a county health department. Directs and supervises clinical/ programmatic activities and clinical staff to ensure provision of effective, efficient and safe nursing care. Collaborates with other health care providers and community agencies to provide clinical and population-based services. Ensures that the operation and integration of nursing services operate within the guidelines of state nursing standards and meet the needs of the clients served by the DeKalb County Board of Health.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in nursing, public health or related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification OR Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Six years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Four years of experience at the lower level PH Nursing Program Consultant 3 (HCP212) or position equivalent AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified.
In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with 3 years of supervisory and budget management experience.
