Clinical Nursing Manager

DUTIES:  Plans, organizes, and directs all nursing activities in assigned facility. Responsible for the quality of nursing care delivered in public health facilities and community-based programs. Provides staff development, orientation, training, and leadership. Evaluates nursing standards and protocol for all designated clinical programs. Collaborates with division director, division administrative operations staff, and clinical nurse coordinators to establish program plans, budget, and standardize clinical operations. Directs subordinate coordinators, supervisors and staff.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in nursing, nursing administration, public health or directly related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years in an administrative or supervisory capacity AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse OR Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Three years of which in an administrative or supervisory capacity AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse OR Eight years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Two years of which in an environment related to the area of assignment, Six years of which as a supervisor AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants who possess professional experience in public health nursing, budget and facilities management, and demonstrate clinical process improvement. Knowledge of sciences related to core functions of public health and Quality Assurance Improvement for Public Health Nursing practice is also desired.
