JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the day-to-day operations of the Juvenile Court. Gathers, reviews, and compiles juvenile data, including names, birth dates, addresses, parents, etc. Prepares and issues court orders; dockets complaints, motions, and petitions; prepares calendars of cases to be called. Examines legal documents submitted to the court for accuracy and completeness. Prepares and marks applicable court exhibits; collects court fees or fines and records collected amounts; runs monthly and end-of-year reports; records and prints court proceedings. Answers inquiries from the general public concerning judicial proceedings, court appearances, summonses, subpoenas, etc. Maintains files and records. Completes a variety of regular and special reports. Performs related duties.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
