Pike County is accepting applications for employment with the Planning and Development Department.  The duties will include permitting and inspections, code enforcement, and assistance with animal control.  This will be considered an entry level position and other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.  Applicants should have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Experience in the fields of construction, code enforcement and animal control will be considered but is not required.  Interested applicants can complete an application at the office of the Board of Commissioners located at 331 Thomaston Street, Zebulon, GA during normal work hours from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday; or, applications may be obtained from the Pike County website www.pikecoga.com
The deadline for the submission of applications will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
