Under general supervision, performs work involving specialized programs in area of Human Resources administration, such as insurance, retirement, disability benefits and employment activities, which involve complex and detailed processing of transactions. The incumbent is expected to work independently and to exercise considerable judgment and initiative in the performance of their duties.
Applicant must possess an associate's degree in Human Resource Management, Business/Public Administration or a related field and possess two to three years of professional or managerial-level experience in journalism, marketing, communications, media relations, public relations, government relations or community relations or related work; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Applicant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication, data entry and organizational skills. Incumbent should be skilled in operating modern office equipment and knowledgeable in office procedures, administrative methods and be Microsoft Office proficient. The applicant must possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and be able to pass a background check and a drug screening.
