Listing Summary

Conducts inspections of residential/commercial building sites for compliance with applicable codes, established specifications, and City/County approved construction plans and Georgia MS4 program requirements; inspects stormwater collection system installations to ensure proper size and fall according to codes; inspects installation of sediment barriers and other best management practices for erosion and sediment control; monitors water turbidity and sediment levels; inspects stream buffers for impacts or encroachment; inspects detention ponds; ensures that all erosion control measures are in place and properly maintained; verifies required setbacks and buffers at development sites; completes site inspection reports and documents site conditions and violations with photographs; investigates reports of illicit discharges and performs required enforcement actions. May assist with inspection of foundation systems and retaining walls.
