Listing Summary

Performs highly responsible duties involving inspections, building permits, animal control, answers routine questions, does related work as required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Planning & Zoning Administrator.

This work requires fieldwork with some physical effort, position requires visual acuity for reviewing, checking, preparing and maintaining written files. Occasional lifting of no more than 50 lbs. The work consists of related animal control duties. Working with sick or wounded animals or with aggressive animals contributes to the complexity of the position.
