Inspire Volunteerism: Rally the troops and lead our volunteer army! You'll recruit, train, and energize volunteers, ensuring every event is powered by the spirit of community.

Forge Meaningful Connections: Build bridges with local businesses, organizations, and agencies to foster inclusion, diversity, and unity within the City of Johns Creek.

Bloom with Variety: With a broad spectrum of events, you'll plan unique festivities to inspire fun for all generations in our multicultural community. You will coordinate with many entities for logistics, budgets, and schedules to ensure every event is a resounding success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent program.

A minimum of three (3) years' experience in special event production, public relations, fundraising, and volunteer management.

One (1) year of experience working in city government is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

About this Position:

Work is performed independently under the general supervision of the Recreation Manager in the Recreation   Parks Department.
