The City of Stockbridge is requesting proposals from a certified and bonded Contractor who is qualified to provide detailed janitorial services to nine (9) locations currently.   The total square footage to be serviced is approximately one hundred twenty-two thousand five hundred (122,500) square feet.  This number is subject to change and the City reserves the right to either add or delete locations, square footage and/or frequency of service(s).  The successful Contractor will be required to provide quality service with minimal service call backs.

 

The City’s intent is to retain a firm with all qualifications and staff resources that are necessary to successfully perform the specified services on a daily basis.  The successful company(s) will provide services for the City as outlined within the Scope of Services.

 

All potential Bidders can obtain a copy of the Bid and Specifications located on the Georgia Procurement Registry website https://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/gpr/index.  Notifications are also placed on the State of Georgia Local Government Access Marketplace website @ https://glga.org (view open positions).  Bids are administered by the City of Stockbridge, Procurement Division.

 

Due to current health concerns, the City of Stockbridge Procurement Division will be conducting  Pre-bid Meetings and Public Bid Opening 100% online!

 

A Non-Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, 10:00AM EDT.

 

For your convenience, the Public Bid Opening will be live streamed on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM, EDT via Cisco WebEx. Joining the WebEx meeting will allow you to view the vendors responding to each bid and the bid amount submitted from each vendor. This will replace in-person Bid Openings. To view the Public Bid Opening, please visit the City of Stockbridge Procurement Website at: https://stockbridgega.org/departments/procurement-division and click “Join Meeting”.

 

Any questions pertaining to the requirements of the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications, either procedural or technical, shall be in writing and are to be submitted to the City of Stockbridge Procurement Division: Attention: Wanda J. Cooley via email at ProcurementDivision@stockbridgega.org by 12:00 Noon (EDT), Friday, May 10, 2024 Reference: “City of Stockbridge Janitorial Maintenance Services” project – RFP No. 2024-0005”

 

The deadline for questions is Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12:00 Noon EDT.

 

The RFP Due Date is Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 3:00 pm EDT

 

All bids should be delivered to Stockbridge City Hall, Procurement Division, 4640 N. Henry Blvd., Stockbridge, GA 30281 by the Bid Opening date of Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 3:00PM - EDT.

 

No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of sixty (60) days after the time designated for the receipt of Bids or until the Bidder is notified by the City whichever is sooner.  The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and formalities.

 

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (5%) of the total bid amount.  The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier’s check made payable to the City of Stockbridge, Georgia.  The entire Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Stockbridge, Georgia as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract.

 

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid, and provide insurance coverage as required in the Contract Documents.
