Planning and Development will schedule on-site interviews for the following positions:

Code Enforcement: responds to citizen questions and complaints; performs field investigations to determine compliance with codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations; issues notices and citations; and prepares detail reports of findings.
Education and experience requirements: Associate degree and one year of code enforcement, inspections, or customer service experience

Inspections: inspects residential, multi-family, and commercial construction sites for compliance with code and ordinance requirements, and applicable approved plans.
Education and experience requirements:
Development Inspector - High School Diploma or GED and three years of related construction or trades experience
Building Inspector - High School Diploma or GED and two years of related construction or trades experience

Plan Review: provides customer service, reviews residential and commercial site plans.
Education and experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, landscape architecture, or planning and one year of customer service experience, specifically permitting, plan review, land use, and zoning

Planning: reviews plans to ensure compliance with County, state, and federal ordinances and laws.
Education and experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, landscape architecture, or planning and one year of customer service experience, specifically permitting, plan review, land use, and zoning

Permitting: supports fiscal and licensing activities; provides excellent customer service; and processes various business/occupation tax documents, forms, and cash transactions.
Education and experience requirements: High school diploma or GED and two years of bookkeeping, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
