POSITION SUMMARY:
The Aquatics Facility Supervisor performs administrative duties to assure a safe and efficient aquatic program and facility. This includes direct supervision of Aquatic personnel and programs as well as taking an active role as an instructor, lifeguard, cashier, and aquatic maintenance.
SCHEDULE: Varies, hours are Monday – Sunday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
STATUS: Part-time seasonal, up to 30 hours per week

Guidelines: Guidelines include, in addition to adherence to City Personnel Policy, Federal, State and local laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Complexity: Work requires analysis and judgment in accomplishing diversified duties. Work requires the exercise of independent thinking within the limits of guidelines, policies, standards, and precedents.
Scope and Effect: The purpose of this position is to perform duties to assure a safe and efficient aquatic program and facility.
Personal Contacts: Contacts are typically with coworkers, the public, city employees, elected officials, and other local governmental officials.
Purpose of Contacts: Contacts are typically for providing aquatic program and facility services.

Working Conditions
Physical Demands: The incumbent is regularly required to perform duties that require manual dexterity involved with swimming and instruction of the same, in addition to physical demands of lifeguard duties. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment: The work is typically performed outdoors at the pool facility or in an office for associated administrative functions.
