The City of Port Wentworth is currently seeking qualified applications for Director of Human Resources. Qualified applicants must have knowledge of the principles of human resources administration, knowledge of principals of employee benefit administration, knowledge of state and federal employment laws, knowledge of coordinating benefit reconciliation with accounts payable, knowledge of processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll, knowledge in workers’ compensation policies and laws, skill in the operation of a computer and job-related software, skill in report preparation and records maintenance, skill in public and interpersonal relations, skill in oral and written communication.
This is a full-time position with a starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
