JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Stormwater Equipment Operator

The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Stormwater Equipment Operator.  This position performs all equipment operation work as needed for maintenance within the city; maintenance and repair of City drainage systems, and street inlets related to storm water; Cleans gutters, sidewalks, catch basins, drop inlets and facilities; Maintains detention ponds and drainage ways through spraying and mowing.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; one (1) to two (2) years related experience; valid state of Georgia Class C license with Class B desired but not required; satisfactory motor vehicle report; pass employment physical and drug screen; acceptable criminal history; equivalent combination of education and experience. Storm Water Certification preferred.
