Reporting to the County Manager, the Assistant County Manager is responsible for providing management oversight of the Animal Services, Community Development, Recreation and Parks, and Public Works Departments; providing management assistance to the County Manager and interim management of various county departments as needed; and acting on behalf of the County Manager in his absence.
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field; supplemented by five (5) years previous experience and/or training that includes public administration, concept analysis, finance, financial analysis, budget management, purchasing, contract management, personnel management, and general management of various county department functions is required.
Salary is commensurate with experience within the hiring range of $107,473—$118,220. (Salary Range $107,473-$171,849).
