The River Valley Regional Commission is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Financial Assistant.  This position is responsible for performing administrative, financial, and paraprofessional accounting duties in support of the Finance Department’s operations.  A knowledge of governmental accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping practices is required.  Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration, and/or related field, or have a completion of Bachelor’s degree planned by Spring, 2023.
