Human Resources Position

Reporting to the Human Resource Director this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating training functions and assisting with the county payroll process.

Salary: $34,923. To $40,914. DOE/DOQ

MAJOR DUTIES • Prepares content and conducts training for new employee orientation; including but not limited to, personnel policies, alcohol and drug testing policy and motor vehicle driving policy. • Prepares content and conducts training for all employees on personnel policies, alcohol and drug testing policy and motor vehicle driving policy on an annual basis. • Maintains training records for individual employees. • Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; refers to appropriate personnel; takes messages as needed. • Assist with or processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis. • Assist with or performs end-of-month, end-of-quarter, and end-of-year reports. • Assist with or processes all year end tasks and electronic filing of W2 forms and 1095 ACA’s. • Processes employment and income verifications as needed. • Performs the duties of the Benefits Specialist or HR Administrative Coordinator as needed. • Performs related duties.
