The leading source of local government job opportunities in Georgia.
The City of Sandy Springs is seeking a new Assistant City Manager for Infrastructure and Facilities. Sandy Springs is the sixth-largest city in Georgia with a diverse population of nearly 110,000. Despite the big-city numbers and strong corporate presence, there is still a small-town feel. Residents and business owners share this sentiment, reflecting their positive relationships with public safety personnel. Exceptional response times by police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians make the city a safe place to live and work. Money, Inc. included Sandy Springs on its list of the “20 Safest Places to Live in Georgia.” With its unique blend of urban energy and southern hospitality, Sandy Springs is also known for its excellent schools—both public and private—and access to the metropolitan area’s top medical facilities, a vibrant restaurant scene, and great shopping. Incorporated in 2005, the City of Sandy Springs is a modern, forward-thinking municipality with 503 full-time employees and 85 part-time employees. The current general fund budget is $130,619,972 and capital budget is approximately $302,096,716 (including TSPLOST I, TSPLOST II, and CIP). Working with residents, small business owners, and corporate partners, the city team is catalyzing economic development through municipal investment in civic projects.
