As a Court Clerk- based in Roswell, GA your responsible for assisting with court processes such as processing driving and criminal histories, processing citations, preparing and issuing PFTAs, Issuing Suspensions, processing cash bond releases, support for adjudications, answering citizens calls and responding to various means of communication, coordination with court calendar to schedule or reschedule court dates, records management, preparing calendars for pleas, arraignments, bond hearings, bench trials and other proceedings, respond to open record requests, and other duties as assigned by the Lead Court Clerk or Court Administrator.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma and/or Some College with 0-2 years of experience working in municipal courts. 
  • Works well under supervision and able to perform basic tasks. Aptitude to learn fundamental skills and court-related tasks. Willing to be mentored by more experienced clerks. Can listen and take direction. 
  • Can produce consistent and high-quality results. Reliable worker. 

Ideally, you'll also have: 

  • GBI Certification Courses, and/or Carl Vinson Institute of Government and/or Georgia Municipal Court Clerk Courses
  • Possess and maintain valid Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) Terminal Operator certification
