The Middle Georgia Regional Commission is seeking to fill the position of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Manager.  The Middle Georgia Regional Commission provides services to 11 counties and 20 cities in Middle Georgia through its office located in Macon, Georgia.  This position is in office and is full-time with benefits. 

 

The Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and administering the quality assurance and process improvement program for the Middle Georgia Regional Commission. This position is responsible for overseeing competitive procurement processes for the awarding of federal and state funds, sub-recipient monitoring, and process improvements to assure the highest level of program delivery across the organization. Responsibilities also include administering contracts and monitoring fiscal and programmatic performance.

 

This position is part of the MGRC management team and works in conjunction with the Executive Director and other Department Directors to address organization-wide issues and concerns.  This position requires a talented individual who can engage collaboratively with local governments in a professional, resourceful, trustworthy, accountable, efficient, and innovative manner.

 

The Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Manager must possess a minimum of a

bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, management, or a related

field and at least four (4) years of administrative or managerial experience. Possession of a

certificate in a process improvement approach, such as Six Sigma, is preferred.
