This position is responsible for budget preparation including forecasts of revenues and expenditures for assigned programs. A Budget Analyst must have a strong mathematical mind and ability to think critically. You should also be knowledgeable about all legal regulations pertaining to budgeting. You will assist with developing annual operating budgets, preparing budget documents, coordinating budget meetings, developing and distributing reports. This position will monitor organizational spending, identify budgetary issues and prepare budget amendment requests throughout fiscal year. The Budget Analyst position assists Douglas County governmental departments with programs and procedures related to budget request; analyzes budget submission and funds request processes, including making recommendations to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Employment is contingent on passing a mandatory Physical/Drug Screen/MVR and Background Investigation.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00/annually; based on experience, plus full benefits package
