The proposed project will be the design and construction administration of two trail project that is part of the City’s trail master plan, Corners Connector. The first trail is located in Technology Park and is a continuation of the City’s Technology Park Lake Trail Phase I. The proposed trail will close the loop around the lake connecting to Phase I’s trail, the apartment complex’s trail, as well as other surrounding businesses. The second trail is a spur and trail hub to the City’s proposed Crooked Creek Trail connecting the trail to SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road. The trail spur and hub would be a great amenity for the local community as well as the adjacent church. Both trails will primarily consist of a 12’ wide concrete path with elevated trail sections and a concrete boardwalk as needed.

The design and construction plans shall be prepared under the guidance of a professional Consultant and shall be in accordance with AASHTO, Georgia Department of Transportation & Gwinnett County Department of Transportation Design Policies. The entire trail shall also be designed to accommodate ADA accessibility standards.
