Job Title: Transit Coordinator
Department: Dawson County Senior Services
Salary: $18.89 Hourly DOQ
Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for all facets of transportation operations; these duties include performing administrative duties, dispatching, DOT compliance, and preventative maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. Applicant must have ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations, to count fares box money and submit a daily fare box report. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, plus two (2) years of transportation experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully understand and perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Completion of the Substance Abuse Management Workshop and Reasonable Suspicion Training as required by the D.O.T. Applicant must pass GDOT Pass Training. Applicant must have possession a driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Applicant must pass a background check and drug screening.
