The City of Hinesville is accepting applications for a Customer Service Representative in the Water Department. This position is responsible for collecting and processing utility bill payments from customers for water bills, business licenses, various other departments and fees at the counter, drop-box, and by mail.
Major duties:
This position consists of customer service and cashiering duties which require the knowledge of general office procedures, bookkeeping practices and maintaining accurate accounts. Frequent interruptions, time constraints and details involved in attending to frequent phone calls, citizen complaints, and requests contribute to the complexity of the job require the ability to multi-task and work under a great deal of pressure. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and one to two years customer service experience.
Minimum starting salary is $36,119.06 plus an excellent benefits package. Applications will be accepted through November 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
