ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE II, PART C FOR THE COOSA WATER AUTHORITY, GEORGIA
Sealed proposals will be received by the Coosa Water Authority, at the Authority’s office, P.O. Box 804, Blairsville, Georgia 30514 (U.S. Postal Service), or 4707 Blue Ridge Highway, Blairsville, Georgia 30514 (Hand Delivery or Shipping) until 3:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Coosa Water Authority is seeking bids from qualified vendors for supplies and materials for the following:
Approximately 11,000 linear feet of 6-inch water lines, all complete with appurtenances.
Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. The bidder shall provide the lead time for material delivery. The price shall be the full, delivered cost to the Coosa Water Authority with no additions.
Coosa Water Authority will award as one contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
The work to be performed under this contract is partially funded with federal funds from the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) Water Sewer Infrastructure Grants established via the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and therefore is subject to federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection at Coosa Water Authority office and at the offices of Turnipseed Engineers in Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia.
Plans and specifications must be obtained from Turnipseed Engineers at https://turnipseed.com/current-projects/out-for-bid/. A digital copy of the plans and specifications as well as one (1) printed copy of the specifications will be provided upon receipt of $200. Printed full size or reduced drawings are available upon request at no additional charge.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
