Downtown Development Authority Coordinator (Part-Time)


Summary

The City of Euharlee is seeking a motivated and community-focused professional to serve as its part-time Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Coordinator. This position plays a key role in advancing downtown revitalization, economic development, and placemaking initiatives in one of Bartow County’s fastest-growing small cities.

This position works approximately 20 hours per week and serves as the primary staff liaison to the DDA Board, supporting implementation of downtown initiatives and coordination between the City, businesses, property owners, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating DDA meetings, agendas, and implementation of board priorities
  • Supporting downtown business recruitment, retention, and development efforts
  • Assisting with events, promotions, and community engagement initiatives
  • Pursuing grant opportunities and supporting project funding and administration
  • Serving as a liaison between downtown stakeholders and City leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in downtown development, economic development, event planning, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible, part-time environment
