Project: RFB2026-18 Atlanta Highway at Jackson Trail Road & Bowman Mill Road Intersection Improvements

Owner:  Barrow County Board of Commissioners

 

Sealed bids will be received by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Winder, Georgia, for intersection improvements for Atlanta Highway at Jackson Trail Road and Bowman Mill Road in Barrow County. 

 

Bids will be received in the office of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, County Clerk’s Office, at 30 North Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 18, 2026.  Any bid received after said time and date, will not be considered by Owner.  Bids will be opened and read aloud in the Commission Meeting Room on the Second Floor of the Historic Courthouse at the above address at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026. All bids will be evaluated and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the bid opening.

Each bid must be in accordance with specifications and must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner.  Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFB2026-18 – Atlanta Highway at Jackson Trail Road & Bowman Mill Road Intersection Improvements”. If a bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of the Owner at the address previously given and also plainly marked with “RFB2026-18 – Atlanta Highway at Jackson Trail Road & Bowman Mill Road Intersection Improvements”. 

 

Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner.  No bid will be rejected without just cause.
